Dr. Elizabeth J. Ringrose, DC, Director of Aegis Chiropractic, earned
her Bachelor of Science degree in 1987 from St. Michael's College in Winooski,
Vermont where she lettered for four year in intercollegiate basketball. Dr.
Ringrose graduated in 1996 Magna Cum Laud from Life Chiropractic College West
in Hayward, California. She directed a private practice for seven years at In-Line
Chiropractic and Sports Injury Center, in Oakland, California. She worked with
many local athletes as well with the Berkeley Women's All-Blues Rugby team.
Dr. Ringrose decided to return to New England to be closer to her family and
chose the beautiful Pioneer Valley as her new home. She has been treating athletes
and other patients with neck and back injuries for over four years here in the
Pioneer Valley.
Lisa Sanderson, MS, PT, director of Aegis Physical Therapy, is a skilled
practitioner with well over a decade of experience in outpatient physical therapy.
Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, with honors,
from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Lisa was also a starting pitcher
for the Nationally Ranked UMass women's softball team. Lisa then graduated with
honors from Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons with a
Master of Science in Physical Therapy.
Lisa has amassed experience in multiple settings including hospitals, and in
home health. For 12 years, Lisa was the owner and director of Dakota Physical
Therapy of Montville, New Jersey, an outpatient physical therapy practice. Lisa
has since sold her practice to move with her family to what Lisa considers one
of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the world, the Pioneer Valley.
Lisa has been instrumental in the growth and success of Aegis Health Partners
and has been the Director of Aegis Physical Therapy since it's inception.
Ginger Wilson, BA, PTA, graduated from Mt. Holyoke College with a degree
in Biology. She continued her education at Springfield Technical Community College
where she received her PTA degree. Ginger has had experience in a variety of
rehabilitation settings, with an emphasis on orthopedic outpatient care. She
has strong manual skills and embraces new advances in physical therapy by taking
continuing education courses.
Ginger is a professional member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
She also shares her physical therapy skills by teaching in the lab and classroom
at Springfield Technical Community College. Her varied interests include hiking,
cycling, gardening and yoga. She is an avid skier and a member of the National
Ski Patrol with CPR and OEC certification for the past 24 years. Ginger is a
personable and caring individual, who is equally versed in her ability to treat
young athletes or neurologically compromised senior citizens and all patients
in between. Ginger is dedicated to her profession and truly concerned about
her patients well being.
